We had a great time at Highland Orchards on Friday. The children played on the playground, made a scarecrow as a class, helped make apple cider, tasted apple cider and received an apple cider donut for snack.We also took a hayride and each child was able to pick three apples. We went to the pumpkin patch and picked out a class pumpkin to carve. Thank you to all the parent volunteers. Here are a few pictures from our trip:
*Monday, October 23rd is Breast Cancer awareness day. Please send in a donation if your child would like to dress down in pink.The children may wear a pink shirt instead of their school shirt and add pink accessories to their uniform. They must wear their SSJ sweatpants or shorts and sneakers. Thank you!

Letter of the Week Ee
Please work with your child to cut out pictures of things that begin with letter E and send them into school. We will be making collages. Thank you!

Thursday- Gym
Friday- Music. We will also be attending the prayer service at 11:00am to celebrate the Feast Day of Saints Simon and Jude.
* Please continue to work with your child on writing their name at home. Please also work on reinforcing the letter of the week. We start a letter booklet on Monday. They may bring it back in for a sticker.
* Our Mission Wednesday collection for October will benefit those affected by the recent hurricanes. Thank you!
